曾有一道考外国学生的选择题是这样：“大连实德队经过90分钟激战大胜北京现代队，获得冠军。”问，下面哪句话与文意最吻合？A北京现代队大胜大连实德队、B北京现代队大败大连实德队、C大连实德队大败北京现代队。虽然正确的是C，考前模拟测验反复强调，结果考场上许多考生还是选B。
　　这题目源于一则真实的故事：1983年，中国女排和美国女排小组赛上相遇,赛后中国报纸上出现了“中国队大胜美国队”的标题。过了几天,决赛里中国和美国队又碰头，争夺冠军,中国报纸的标题换成了“中国队大败美国队”一名名叫Christr的美国留学生看了报纸后很高兴，认为美国队赢了，在中国同学中称赞自己的国家队，结果弄出了大笑话。据说，直到毕业离开中国，Christr见谁都愤愤不平地称，中国人太奇怪了,胜败都是中国人赢,那还比赛什么呢？
