Financial Advisor charges fee in one of these 2 ways:

1. annual fee
2. get fee from the mutual funds that he recommend to you

Broker charges fees if you buy mutual funds from funds
not belong the brokerage.

So if you want to avoid fees, go to the mutual funds'
(which you want to buy)website to open the roth IRA directly.
