愚意，耽，在此为耽搁、沉溺意，动词，蒹葭还沉溺在鹄白；渐，在此为靠近、浸染意，动词，杨柳已渐染上鹅黄。（西风东渐，东渐于海，即此义。）

若渐字作副词，渐渐、缓慢义，与动词作对仗，也有前例：

疑穿花逶迤，漸近火溫黁。（李商隐）疑对渐。

客居愧遷次，春酒漸多添。（杜甫）愧对渐。 

漸老垂玄髪，逢人倒緑醅。（明·孙继皋）逢对渐。

惟没找到渐与耽对的前例~~~：）
