两周后的十月十四日，在美洲可以看到日偏食，而且在美国有八州能看到被称为火之环(Ring of Fire)的日环食，包括俄勒冈，加州，内华达，犹他，亚利桑那，科罗拉多，新墨西哥，德州。

【七绝】火之环(日环食)

一入天门似海深，

鲜拿黑脸骇悲心。

火之环目悬苍宇，

实乃乌阳会太阴。

注解：

(1)天门，这里假想太阳是通过天门而升到空中的。

(2)黑脸，日食时太阳的脸变黑了。

(3)骇悲心，惊吓并使心伤悲。古时认为日食天象预示灾难，故引起恐慌与伤悲。

(4)火之环，日环食发生时太阳明亮的外圈。

(5)环目，圆眼的意思。唐柳宗元《〈龙马图赞〉序》：“其状龙鳞，虺尾、拳髦、环目、肉鬣、马之灵怪有是耶？”

(6)乌阳，指太阳。亦喻昌明盛世。《旧唐书·李密传赞》：“乌阳既升，爝火不息。狂哉李密，始乱终逆。” 宋苏轼《李太师墓志》：“无疆之休，以来本世……如谊、仲舒，乌阳是逢。”

(7)太阴，月亮的别称。殷谦《天廷秘传》：“太阳者，乃中宫混元之精，爆发变星初，太阳爆发生火，分身虣出，火熄而生太阴，填卫其侧，乃月亮矣。”

(8)乌阳会太阴，日食是因月亮正好运行到地球与太阳之间而形成，月亮与太阳身影重合。会在这里理解为交会，相会，约会都可。

the sun gets into

a down mood,

loses his smile.

out of the sorrow,

never leaves it

to tomorrow.

That's what

we should do.
