野火烟雾记

 

深居沙漠里，春去夏难共。

世上浮云轻，人间烟火重。

雾浓骄日昏，水尽枯林纵。

焦土阴霾时，天威竟无用。

 

Wildfires and Smokes

 

I live deep in the desert.

When spring was replaced by summer,

it started to become unbearable.

Everything in the world seemed light and trivial

as heavy smokes from nearby wildfires

tried to make a statement.

They were so thick that the sun

in high noon was dim and lifeless.

After fires swept through,

remaining tree trunks were standing straight

like black pillars in a burned down city.

At a time as millions of acres of forest

were scorched and air was filled with smokes,

the warnings from Nature were still largely ignored.

• 前些日子由于附近的森林野火，空气中烟雾严重，AQI极高，达到了危险级(Hazardous)，诗以记之。
