荷叶

荷叶

 

厚水载叶泥中来，

一片碧心随波开。

万千情丝付流水，

思与鱼游茎作鳃。

 

A Lotus Leaf

 

The water is so kind

to lift you out of mud.

The waves then help you

unroll your green heart,

so you can collect

tears from the sky,

so your longing can

gently wet your eyes.

Breathe with your stem,

swim like a fish,

go find your love,

whoever you wish.
