七律：梅（情人節前夕吻贈未婚妻）

芽破冰融灌百川，春根如脈九州連。

滿朝朱紫相違盡，萬世炎黃獨拜先。

樹振國風鳴碧野，苞含神韻應蒼天。

開花無蝶能偷近，已許詞家一剪緣。

新歲伊始，未婚妻學懂了她生平的第一個方塊漢字：「梅」。梅之國，美之國。梅、也就是她今後樂用的漢語芳名。

 

LY: “When watching flowers fall and drift in the wind, a traditional Chinese would wonder if life is but a dream. This doesn’t happen to a Westernized Chinese, not to mention a Westerner. Chinese tradition is a Chinese dream, poetically speaking.“
