【闲庭信步】 鹤冲天 步柳永脚韵 上声二十哿 （自勉词）+ 英译

闲庭信步。凭栏观塘荷。
碧绿外娇花。明如火。
何必沾尘俗。纷争乱，谁错对?
山水来伴我。美景良辰。莫负了今儿个。
译够雪莱阿伦破 ，静夜看星辰，一颗颗。
亮透银河显。这可能，四时么?
顾前后右左。无人四野。独见影儿长拖。

After taking a leisurely stroll,

I enjoy lotuses while leaning against the rail.

beside the deep green, over there, 

are flowers as bright  as fire,

Why should I care about the strife and fight?

Who is wrong and who is right?

The beautiful scenery in front of me

at the moment is my company

and I should cherish it dearly.

I feel tired to translate Shelley and Alla Poe,

the starry sky is the one I should not ignore.

Shining stars in the Milky Way,

Can they  forever stay?

Looking around, I find nobody,

but my own shadow so lonely.
