My Universe

 

My universe is born,

When your umbrella covers us,

On a stormy day,

When a soul worn and torn,

Hugged by a soul gentle and gay.

 

I see an ocean in your eyes,

An ocean of loving butterflies.

I hear a bird beckon inside your chest,

Where my love yearns to nest.

And I savor the touch of your palm,

Soothing my heart like the finest balm.
