Buying a house

1.

As soon as she agreed to be my spouse
I borrowed money and bought a house
When she later chose to stay with her boss
Reluctantly I sold the house at a loss

Since now the home price shoots through the roof
I can do nothing but appear aloof:
All lenders firmly refuse 0 down
Forcing me to see a bikini as a gown

This afternoon I went to an open house
Owned by a man, a mare, a mutt and a mouse
After seeing the unimaginable mess
I negotiated the price to get $20k less

The house is $50k over priced in fact
But I have already signed the contract
If I walk away without buying the property
I will lose my hard earned earnest money

3000 square feet for $3k
A hearty thanks to the darling fha
After signing the title I got the key
O, I will not again sleep under a tree

But from now on I will have to kiss an ass
Even when it sometimes lets out smelly gas
I need the job to pay the mortgage
For pride is worth little compared to wage
