The surrounding is very harsh for the two young lovers.

How harsh? The girl is so outstanding like the  fresh "芹" in a fall garden and the boy is too shy and scared to express his feeling.

The love story ends with a bitter finish because youth is never fully equiped with enough experience and resource. The girl is in the past and the boy follows the calling of his fate with more wisdom and awareness.

Sometime in future, the self-converted successful man who used to be the miserable boy pays tribute to the memory of this special event in writing, he falls into the sea of sadness with a glass of glory wine awaiting.
