I am not home for on call. When I replace 旧 with 古,

and read the first sentence again and again, it sounds better too (I mean real word's sound). 板is always the problem of new learners by trying to match everything as much as possible. In the begning I am also thinking about real life, when my friends come to my house I will 谦..say I got a 旧...
You are right, this is for 诗, so I take your wonderful word after your comments on my reasons.:)))))
