congrats!!!

   I've too been searching last couple years for a capable compact camera with reasonable price.  X100 was on my radar for a while.  When the news of x100s came out.  I pre-ordered mine within a few weeks.  

   My x100s came in about a week ago.  I used last weekend in a restaurant and my friend's kid birthday party.   Here is my initial feeling:

   Pro:

    - The image quality and colors are excellent.  I really love its colors!!  

    - Shutter sound is so quiet.
    - I can shoot at a much lower speed(~1/20sec) due to the leaf shutter design.

   

  Con:

   - AF speed is not as fast as my dslr setup(but according to some reviews, it is faster than most mirrorless, such as RX1, Cooplix A).  

   - UI is kind of corky.

  I should able to work around these issues.  It is my everyday and street camera for sure.
