Question on Nikon film N60

I recently picked up a Nikon film n60 body from ebay. I don't have an AF lense yet. I put my nikon 50mm lense fro nikon EM (manual focus). The n60's LCD window keeps showing "F - -". WHat that menas? How to fix it? I do not have the user's manual.
