U must be an experienced High Hand, shake hands.

My first 20 shots all had the focus point shifted to the right of the horse, because my turning of the zoom ring. So I change the turning from low to high, did not help. Then I tight down the ball head just a bit to restrict the movement and also wait until the horse is closer. At the end, I gave up and don't want to break my zoom lens.

Another key learning is to start turning first and then click. Otherwise, I got a lot shot w/o any zoom effect.
