OMG! This is almost identical with my car crash two yrs. go. I was rear ended and pushed to the central divider, then my car flipped in mid air, then landed, fortunately, on the wheels. The engine was still running. I landed in the slow lane in the same direction with the traffic, right in front of the huge truck that was carrying a dozen cars. I was composed enough to pull the car to the shoulder, yet remembered nothing that had happened, until a witness behind me told me about the acrobatic movements of my car. My cat was sitting in her carrier in the car throughout the whole process. And the accident happened in Los Angeles area around 5 pm! I also had nightmares of everything that could have happened on the busy freeway that could have led to a much less fortunate ending.
