2008年12月离开美国，2009年3月要求140补件并通过。其后没有回美国，在中国重新找了工作，结婚生小孩。此后一直没有去管绿卡申请的事情。目前供职的公司是美国申请绿卡的公司在中国的分公司。

前几天收到律师的邮件，问我怎么处理这个case。和律师讨论的结果，也还有可拿到绿卡。但如果中间需要补件或者有其它曲折，那么就邮寄一份withdraw Letter给USCIS,Cancel这个case.

现在我有一些问题请教：

1： 如果希望拿到绿卡，那么现在还可以做什么

-Find a job in US in the same/similar area as the old job indicated in the I-140, if possible. Or do nothing and then, like what the lawyer said.

2： 如果拿到绿卡，那么是否拿到以后就要去美国一趟？

-Yes, within one year.

使用绿卡进入吗？

-Yes,

需要做些什么？

3：律师告诉我，很多人都是拿到绿卡以后，每隔半年去美国住2，3个星期就又离开美国。这种方式是否可行？

-No. The CBP officer will consider you to have no intent to live in US and thus, cancel your green card if youy do this frequently.

4：拿到绿卡，那么我考虑去美国工作，

那小孩可以用什么方式进入？ 配偶呢？

-They can apply for B1/B2 visa to enter US and then, file I-485. Or you file I-824 for them to apply for the immigration visa (green card visa) in the US Consulate in Guangzhou.
