如果file了485，等不到绿卡下来，已经在公司的payroll上terminate了，转成H4,485是不是就失效了？

或者，如果file了485，被裁了，但是又找到了另一个公司，H1B transfer了，485是不是也失效了？

-If USCIS does not realize your file I-485 after you are laid off, you need to find a job in the same/similar area. Then, if USCIS send you RFE for employment status after your I-485 pending > 180 days, you just provide the employment verfiction letter from your new employer and you will be OK. Otherwise, if USCIS find you filed I-485 after you are laid off, your I-485 will be void unless your current employer support you. Also, if USCIS make a decision on your I-485 and your I-485 pending is < 180 days, probably they will deny your I-485. So, just see how lucky you are.
