-Not need.

害怕我的绿卡批的比他的指纹通知早，到时用H4他入不了美国。

-If he will work in China for period of time e.g. at least one year or more, he may not need to file the I-485 to get his green card now, but applys for the immigration visa in China using consular processing. So, after you get your green card, you just file I-824 for him. The consular processing may need one year around.
