I misunderstand your question. I thought you filed I-485 based on your old I-140 and my answer was based on that, but you question is PD carryover and filed the I-485 based on your pending I-140.

Your PD carry-over will be OK even if the old employer withdraw the approved old I-140 (if your old employer withdraw the petition before the old I-140 is approved, that will be a problem).
