Similar to marriage situation, there is no deadline as regulated.

However, since primary has been adjusted, his dependent have lost legal status as a dependent, when I-485 has yet been filed.

In such case, the dependent is suggested to file AOS ASAP to avoid accumulation of unauthorized stay, which may disqualify him to adjust status.

In worst situation of PD not being current, and overstay being nearly 180 days, I would suggest the dependent to leave the country for CP (I-824), for safety.

Either case, no I-130 is needed.
