about PD carry over, can you help?

Is there anybody who knows about the PD carry over? I have applied the EB2 LC and approved. the I140 has been filed but not approved yet.

1. If I find another similar job before the approval of current I140, can I carry ove the PD date? Thanks a lot!
2. If I wait until the approval of current I140, how many month usually does it take?
