Why still no update

DS2019 Forms and no objection statement were sent to DOS one month ago but on their website still showing "requested". Does anyone know it is normal? Should I write an inquiring letter? How long did it take DOS process your case and update your information? Please answer me if you have any experience. Thank you in advance.
