NIW 485排期还在05年三月，我是不是没希望在最近拿到绿卡了

我的485在TX pending，140已批，PD 10/2005. 排期未到，也不知道什么时候才能拿到绿卡。不过看来他们还是在动没有current的case。我们昨天递交的485 RFE补件(medical exam) ，今天收到email说,

On August 17, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

请问这个” preliminary processing” 指的是什么? 也包括name check吗?
