if you are using LC/RIR/TR/PERM, your PD(priority date) is the date you filed your LC/PERM.

if your first 140 is already approved and your employer didn't revoke your 140, then you can keep your Priority date. but you still have to go through PERM/140 again.
only when you second 140 is also approved, you can file 485 to keep the original prioity date.

but if you first 140 didn't get approved, you could not keep PD.
