there is a status update on my AP case after I received the AP half a year ago:

On April 28, 2006, I received the following email:

Application Type: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On November 7, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address....
