Question on CIS update after fingerprinting

My wife and I both did our fingerprinting (for I-485) last Novemeber. However, my wife was asked to do it again in December. When I checked the CIS online case status, the last update of both our I-485 were still last November. I wonder if this is ok as my wife did it again in December.
