I agree with u to the extent that the queue in E1 is not that terrible. However, the visa pressure in E2 and E3 is huge. About a year ago, I heard that there were 400k labor cases backlog in DOL. With backlog reduction effort in full force in DOL, many people become eligible to file I-140 and I-485. Considering most of them have family, the requirement for visa number is hard to imagine. By law, every year only 140,000 employment green cards can be granted (every card takes a number). Even you add up 100k recapture number from 1999 (most or all of them have been used this year), there is much more demand than supply. If CIS continues to process I-485 at the current pace,the pressure on the avaiablity of visa number will be terrible. Unless CIS stops processing I-485 or a new law raises the quota, the cut-off date on EB2 and EB3 will be there for a while.
