欣赏爵士乐歌手 Nat King Cole 的【秋叶】，【蒙娜丽莎】和其他

Nat King Cole 在1919年（猜测）生于美国亚拉巴马州 的Montgomery County。他在芝加哥长大，12岁就在教堂里演秦管风琴，并加入唱诗班，儼然已经是个小小音乐人。他曾经加入过他的大哥领衔的“纯粹摇摆者”乐队。1936午，他决定单飞，他先到到洛杉矶，管理一个专门为时事讽刺剧配乐的乐队。1937年，他有了自己的三重奏乐队(King Cole Trio)，他亦弹亦唱，不少观众迷上了他那独特的声音，渐渐地，他成为一名很受欢迎的歌手，人气不断上升。

1940年．他的乐队终于有了在迪卡唱片公司录音的机会。一时间，一批精彩的爵士乐唱片诞生了，其中包括1他为国会大厦唱片公司录制的经典选曲。

Cole 在录制了很受欢迎的《Nature boy》和《The Christmas Song》后，又把热情投入到钢琴演奏上。真正让他成为一线爵士歌手的，大概是他在1950创作的的《Monda lisa》(附视频）（获1950年的Academy award for best original song)。1950—1960年，Cole 的兴趣转向录制流行民谣。很多人觉得他在演奏方面的才华几乎被演唱的成功所掩盖，但他很难得的一直保持着一定程度的演奏技巧。他和第二任妻子有五个孩子。女儿Natalia Cole 继承了他的演唱事业。关于他的八卦，在此略过：）

1965年2月25日．Cole 在加利福尼亚州圣莫妮卡逝世，年仅46岁。有人说，那是因为他是一个顽固的重度吸烟者；也有人说，他吸烟是因为演出的压力太大。然而在文献里，被多次记载的，是他在演艺生涯中所遭受过不同程度的种族歧视，包括身体方面的伤害。在那些年代，愿意接纳一个有色人种在著名饭店里演出的老板还不是很多，他的处境还是有起落的。但他熬过来了。个人认为。这个46年算是值了。

和今天那些被过度包装的歌手比，他的声音自然，亲切，有着更强的生命力。可以毫不夸张地说，他的声音里含着四季：夏日黄昏的风，冬日的阳光，秋天的落叶，有时候也像春天花瓣上的水珠。
