About probability theories

I am glad to see that probability theory and statistical inferences are becoming quite popular here. However, many discussions happened here on those topics also seem to lack basic knowledge on the subjects. Just as a friendly reminder, it would probably be more helpful (and more importantly, less harmful) to your knowledge that before trying to post/solve the problems, study some basic books on classic and modern probability/statistics theory.
