For my understanding, mathematically, same payment schedule will result in the same balance amount for any moment.

It is a 离散的二次曲线。

The mortgage payment calculation rule is that

Monthly payment = P + I and is a constant
P is principle and I is interest
I = Balance * Rate / 12
Balance = Loan amount - Sum(P)
