Where did you get this name "seaotter"? It reminds me a great deal of ...a close friend of mine. Anyway, weather is pure luck. But, you do need 2-3 extra days
on your itinerary, in case of bad weather and mountain
sickness.

There are guards at the National Park gate entry, 24/7. Overall, it's a very safe place. But, if there is a emergence, the best way out is by air, not by land.
So, these guards can't help much.
