The census data is a fact. The salary survey data may be considered a fact. But your statement that "(t)heir family incomes are typically on top 2%~5% among all American Families if both parents are working or on top 10~15% if one is working" is NOT a fact. You don't know the makeup of these families (are the family members both working, what kind of job each has, etc.). You cannot simply add two numbers from the salary survey. Do you see the logical gap here?

It appears that you base your conclusion on your own experience. Congratulations. You are the lucky one. But this is not the norm. It is the exception.
