How many American are truely uninsured?

Here are some numbers. A little old but still informative.

America’s Truly Uninsured
41,000,000 "Uninsured"
- 14,000,000 Public Program-Eligible But Not Yet Signed Up
- 11,400,000 Non-Poor (300% above FPL)
- 7,400,000 Non-Poor (200-299% FPL)
= 8,200,000 Truly Uninsured Americans

BTW, the link does not work anymore. If you search NIHCM web site using keyword "uninsured", there is a article title about uninsured, but good luck to pull the full article. My guess: TOO POLITICALLY INCORRECT TO STAY ON A SEMI-GOVERNMENT SITE, OR MAYBE STAY ON ANY SITE? SO MUCH FOR "RIGHT TO KNOW" IN USA.
