FDIC only has one line of credit with Treasury

It could be insolvent if no more funds from gov. But the US gov will support it even it has to print money. Today the important news is UK's Quantitative easing. That means UK is starting the print press now. US will follow it. It will not create inflation yet because the financial black hole is still expanding. The new money still can not fill it up fast enough. But in one or two years, it will. Gov always overshoot it.
