both have been going after artifacts that got out of the country in recent years, filing suits here in the states. but they cannot go after the British Museum in London or the Met because the stuff in there have been there for a while.
but then again, neither of us work for the chinese government, so we won't know for sure, at least for some time.
my point is: don't be so quick to place the blame or draw a conclusion.
