I can't agree on this. how come a taxcut with nothing to cut?

If the government wants to help first-time buyers, give them a good mortgage.

If the government wants to help current house owners, help them to negotiate a good refinance.

If some owners can't afford the mortgage no matter what, let them go under. You can't help anyone.

Giving people cash to buy home doesn't help mortgage at all. It is not a tax cut because there is nothing to cut. It is a spending bill.
