You could if you cared money so much. I meant not every month, I meant once a while. 50-70 cents for dozen eggs you can eat for almost 2 weeks. Rice stir fried with groud beef (99 cents per pound), you could eat for several days. Tofu was so expensive for me back then. If you try as what I said, you will know you can save a lot of money on food. Of course, the price is so much higher now.
