Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, often mentioned as a possible running mate for Sen. John McCain, suggested Friday that he will not be the GOP vice presidential nominee.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty suggested in a radio interview that he will not be McCain's VP pick.

A Republican source said McCain settled on his choice of a running mate at a meeting of his advisers Wednesday.
