I don't buy promises, and I don't look for good people

among politicians. To me, there are only professional ones and armature ones. I think it should be other way around, a Dem president, and a GOP controlled congress. Dem controlled congress will just be ineffective and incompetent bunch with empty slogans.

My thinking is, with an incompetent McCain, who can't really rally the traditional GOP base, he's going to fail miserably. But with Obama and Biden (I really like Joe Biden, who's a professional and seasoned politician, never pretends to be your neighbour or friend), it will be better than McCain. Public can see how useless Dem controlled congress are, and they will want a change, with a Dem president, that decision will be easier.

Not blaming W for everything, but Dem only controlled congress for 1.5 year, and they failed their job, that's for sure. W is as incompetent as one can get.
