Free healthcare is nice for low income, retiree and small business people, which usually don't have employer-sponsored insurance. No one complains about the quality and speed of healthcare in this country. The problem is the coverage. Many people can't afford the service you enjoy, but have to go to ER for everything.
2 weeks ago I watched a PBS show comparing health insurance among USA, Germany, Japan, UK, Taiwan and Swiss. Basically the conclusion is people in USA pay the most, while people in other country pay much less, while enjoy Ok or even superior service.
