Just a thought why ZhangzhiYi made her road to Hollywood

even if she is not the prettiest.

I think most westerners like her because she looks like she has some strong spirit and is not afraid to put up a fight for which ever she stands for. Westerners always respect people who are willing to stand for herself. According to my experience, the more I am willing to put up a fight for what I believe, the more respect I get, no matter what media says.

Think backwards, Bruce Lee may not be the most skilled GONG Fu fighter, but he is definitely the most legendary because of his spirit.

However, it is difficult to have a chinese who have spirit because our culture promote the mediocres.
