回复:回复:Japan in WW2
Well, the war between Japan and U.S. was mainly on the sea and it was natural that less soldiers died. But the threaten japan has imposed on U.S. was in fact a lot bigger than Germany and Italy. Imagine what could happen if U.S. lost in the Midway battle. The war between Japan and U.S. at that time was really a war of survival and death. However, Germany and Italy never really threatened U.S. and they announced war with U.S. simply because they are allies of Japan. Of course, I won't deny the fact that race also played some roles in their decisions.
