On July 14, 1951 I transcribed my first Hitparade Chart from the radio (Martin Block and "The Make Believe Ballroom", WNEW in New York) playing The Cash Box Jukebox top 35 songs. "Rose Rose, I Love You" by Frankie Laine was #3 that day; and the flip side of the 45, "Jezebel" was #2, and the #1 song was "Too Young" by Nat (King) Cole. And that was the beginning of 50 years of collecting the charts and all the songs (including going back in time and including the 1940s). Thanks to Bob Moke for all these songs :-)
