既然奥巴马当选了，我祝愿他做好下面四年，God Bless America. I never cared about election as much as this time. Sigh... and wish for the best.
我也真的对共和党很失望，也不喜欢罗姆尼这个人，因为更不喜欢奥巴马，或者说更不信任奥巴马，才去投了罗姆尼。我十四岁的儿子居然喜欢奥巴马，问他为什么，他说 what he said sounds good.这大概是奥巴马的最强项。But there is a big gap between what Obama presented as his vision, and what he actually do.
My deepest fear is that Obama will turn the US into a socialist society. I am not rich, and I always have to work hard, but I would rather work hard and live my tough life than wishing and hoping for the promised benefits. I think history has shown that the result of socialism is, instead of making rich less rich and poor less poor, it makes everyone poor. Also, the bigger the government is the more the waste and corruption is. The foundamental of the society is much more important than who promise a bigger slice of pie, so I could never understand the argument going along with special interest groups for my vote.
Republicans, I think they are stupid to keep grinding on issues like abortion and gay marriage. They must have miscalculated what people care the most. All these issues are none issue, if they stick to the principle of constitution, which is to preserve the right of each individuals to persue happiness. They have not figure out that many people like me would like to support conservative stand in the terms of ecomony and government, but have a rather liberal view of life in general.
The same thing goes for church. I believe in God and Jesus, but have given up on finding a church because each and everyone of them force you to accept what they think is the Bible is. I will stop here. I don't want to offend passionate religious believers or passinate atheists.
