不过，要比较Gore和Bush，Bush的国内政策不是极右派。抓教育，宣扬compansionate conservatism，属于右派中的实干温和派。国防上是激进派。但当时的选举国防根本就不受重视。

相比，Gore比较激进，也太轻敌，以为经济那么好，没有不选上的道理。
