(which was artificially put togther after WWII and ruled with an iron hand by Tito), not just the Muslims. Serbians fought all these republics and carried out genocides, BEFORE the west got involved. Soviet Union also broke up, w/ less tragedy. In both cases, the people in the newly independent republics are happy to be out. I have been to Croatia and saw the first hand the people wanted to be independent (also the many bullet holes from the war).
You should not just simply and blindly blame the west for all the problems in the world.
