Democrats offered a proposal to reduce deficits by $3 trillion over 10 years, but with $1.3 trillion tax increase, that means more tax on people already paying tax;
GOP with a proposal that would reduce deficits by $2.2 trillion including $640 billion of nontax revenue.
Dem blaims GOP for not agreeing with them.
so the real point is: democrats wants to raise tax, GOP don't.
Why u want to raise tax when u can realy cut spending on entitlements to create jobs, i.e. moving money from entitlements to job creating programs?
It is just disenginous for democrat's cutting spending on the condition of raising tax, because once u rasie tax, u have money, u will not want to cut spending, like a spoiled child, more allowances, more luxury spending.
