CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Seven people have been shot in and around an IHOP restaurant in Carson City, Nev., reports the Reno Gazette-Journal. The number of fatalities is unclear but an eyewitness said at least one man was killed outside the IHOP and the shooter, who also reportedly fired into an H&R Block outlet, was said to be in critical condition. A spokesman for Care Flight told the newspaper that helicopters from all three of their bases were called to the scene and have so far transported at least three victims to hospitals, two of them in critical condition. IHOP is owned by DineEquity Inc.
