Moonbeam was a eulogy by liberals back in the 70s.

It is true that California has been controlled by democrats in recent history. However,the state has shifted from a liberal flag to an social welfare type of democratic society, largely due to  the influx and increased hispanic influence, welfare and spending program has grown increasingly unshakable in the legislature.  Many assembly and senator members run their term by promising the Latino community and union organization. Their whole political life depend on if they can keep their "Program".  It is unprecedented in history.   Minority influence also appear to push back California's liberal agenda, Latino voter is the single most important factor that sebataged Gay marriage initiatives.  How enocomy should be organized is not my topic here, I was merely pointing out the California's culture has been profoundly changed and we will see if Moonbeam will be Moonbeam again or just fade into an Eclipse.
